I have sent the thermometer back to braun on a warranty claim. See all braun products 1 800 679 9691. I simply put in the batteries pressed the on button then i was ready to go. The readings was totally out.

I was a bit disappointed with braun and have to return them back to amazon. I ended up throwing it in the bin. I looks at the ratings and this particular thermometer was rated number 1. This thermometer is completely inaccurate absolutely useless.

The worst part is inconsistent readings were recorded. I bought 4 thermometers from different brand. It was just as bad as the original. Despite the bad reviews i bought it because of the decent price the brand.
