What damage did it do.
Broken spark plug ceramic in cylinder.
Twin turbo with catalytic converter while changing the spark plugs one broke off all the ceramic below the threads and possibly the metal finger of the plug i m not sure and fell through the valve after bending it and causing the valve to burn possibly.
1 remove the valve cover or whatever it is called that contains the spark plug threads 2 remove the broken spark plug porcelain pieces from cylinder 3 new valve cover gasket guessing not a good idea to reuse old gasket 4 reattach valve cover 5 replace spark plug this last spark plug as the other three were installed and torqued.
Half of the ceramic casing on the plug i pulled out was gone.
I rotated the cylinder to begin the compression stroke on the first cylinder but i still feel stuck on what to do.
It is ceramic and will certainly damage the piston and head.
Then soak the broken plug shell with a generous amount of penetrating oil.
